The 60,000-square-metre sports area and the sports facilities together form the Sports Technification Centre, which offers the necessary services and resources for high-performance training. When all of the facilities are complete, it will become a centre of reference for certain sports both nationally and internationally. Sport and education will come together under one roof, bolstered by research into applied sports science. Currently it has an eight-lane synthetic athletics track and areas for some field events (jump and throw). Other facilities include a 25-metre-long eight-lane covered swimming pool, a fencing pavilion with 17 electronic floors, a sports centre with a basketball and handball court, a 106 x 66.5-metre third-generation artificial grass football pitch, and a rowing and canoeing centre (Nautical Club) with hangars and a gym.
In the future, the centre will have an 80-place athletesĺ residence to accommodate teams and athletes during their preparation, with complementary services like a dining room, a meeting room, a library, etc., as well as medical, sports physiotherapy, biomechanical and technical advice services.
